Food Prepping

I am busy. Most mums are, even mums who are in the home all day are busy. I know we all have chicken nugget and chips days, sometimes these get way out of hand and the mummy guilt sets in - am I right?

Lets talk about food prepping. The art of making batches of food for later.

Lots of people freeze food, when done properly it cuts down on food waste spectacularly, power usage and saves a whole load of time later on.

Cutting down food waste - if you prep and freeze close to day of purchase, you're able to freeze into portions to eliminate waste, hands up who makes far too many mashed potatoes?

Saves on power usage - why use a hot oven just for one item when you can fill it up and use it only once?

Saves time - this one is self explanatory.

Saves money - you can order meat or produce in bulk, a sack of potatoes or a multi-buy of meat is cheaper than a single item.

I will share all of the ways that I prep in advance for healthy dinners & link them below, my kids are fussy & i'm no gourmet chef but I try to limit the beige buffet if I can help it!
